The Imaginarium of DVO, a place for wonder and knowledge, presents you Bernardo, and the story of how a publicist became a voice over talent.
Bernardo, a Mexican Creative Director and Copywriter liked to be involve in the production and recording sessions of the texts he wrote for his clients. He grew curious about the kind of job those voice artists had and how happy they seemed while doing it, and realized he also wanted to experiment that feeling. It was love at first sight.
He wanted to try it so badly, but there was a problem, his lack of confidence. One day he finally decided to break free and sit on the other side of the recording studio. The rest is history.
Forrest Gump said, “life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re gonna get.” Well, Bernardo has his own sentence of what life is. “Life is like a voice over casting, you might not get any, or you might get them all. Whatever happens don’t let what other think affect you.”
This is his final tip: “Never doubt about yourself, never let the fear to stop you. The only regret is never trying. The worst thing could happen is that nothing happens.”
